First meeting of the Methodological Teacher's Club Print E-mail

July 21, 2004 in "Tkuma" new office there was organized athe first meeting of the Methodological Teacher's Club. There participated 14 history teachers from secondary schools of Dnepropetrovsk.

 

 "Tkuma" director Dr. Igor Shchupak discussed with the participants the Club's tasks of developing educational programs of "Tkuma".

 

I. Kabanchik gave a lecture "Regional feature of the Holocaust in Ukraine". With all the arguments he profoundly narrated how during the Second World War "the Jewish question was finally solved" in Galichina, Transnistria, Special military region and in the other territories, captured by the Nazists.

 

The head of the "Tkuma" All-Ukrainian Academic Board prof. F. Levitas held a round-table discussion on "Ukrainian-Jewish relations before, during and after the Holocaust". It was emphasized that nowadays the task of pedagogues is to educate a motivation for interethnic tolerance in rising generation.

The same day in "Tkuma" there was held a seminar of Jewish camps' Madrihs, in which participated 12 persons from Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa.
