PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On March 10, the historical webinar of “Tkuma” Institute, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Orion” Publishing House took place. The topic of the educational event – “New history textbooks for 8th grade: a tool for teachers, motivation for students; a remedy for boredom”.

Members of the author's team of history textbooks for 8th grade of “Orion” Publishing House were also speakers: Olena Burlaka, history teacher, winner of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year-2016” in the category “History”, Honored Educator of Ukraine (Cherkasy region); Natalia Vlasova, teacher-methodologist, winner of the All-Ukrainian stage of the competition “Teacher of the Year-2016” in the nomination “History”, methodologist of the Methodical Center at the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council (Dnipro); Iryna Krasutska, Editor-in-Chief of “Orion”, a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, winner of the Triumph International Prize (Kyiv); Vladyslav Kronhaus, finalist of the zonal stage of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year-2020” in the nomination “History”, history teacher of KZ “Kharkiv specialized school of II-III degrees № 3” (Kharkiv); Iryna Piskareva, Teacher-methodologist, Head of educational programs at “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies; Dmytro Sekyrynskyi, Specialist of the highest category, teacher-methodologist, history teacher of Zaporizhzhia multidisciplinary lyceum “Perspective” (Zaporizhzhia); Natalia Starchenko, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow, Department of Theory and Methods of and Source Studies, M.S.
