On December 20, the first webinar for school and university students was held as part of the project “CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL HERITAGE AS THE BASIS OF UKRAINIAN NATIONAL IDENTITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF OPPOSING RUSSIAN AGGRESSION”. During December 20-23, classes for different categories of listeners will be held by famous scientists, talented teachers, and our Heroes – officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The following presentations took place within the framework of the first webinar:

- “Ukrainian historical memory and opposition to the ideas of rushism” (Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute, Dnipro);

- “Culture of memory in creative student works” (Iryna Piskariova, “Tkuma” Institute, Dnipro);

- “Traps of social networks: how not to lose your identity” (Dr. Nataliia Ostrovska, National Technical University, Zaporizhzhia)

The online event was moderated by Natalia Vlasova, director of the Lyceum of International Relations, Dnipro.

“What is the historical memory of Dnipro school students? Do they understand that the “russian peace” is an attempt to return to the already dead Soviet Union, which was not very “comfortable” for people even “during its lifetime”? – noted Dr. Shchupak. – During the webinar, we talked about historical memory and national identity, about students' creative works and parallels between the Holocaust and modern genocide against Ukrainians in the eyes of students, about media literacy and medical safety”.
