Projects for Teachers

April 18, 2018 “Tkuma” Institute, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education organized regular regional seminar. History and Law Teachers visited the Museum (guided tour was conducted by Dr. Olena Ishchenko, research associate), talked with Iryna Piskariova, “Tkuma” Institute Educational Programs Coordinator and Dr. Igor Shchupak, received scholarly and methodological literature.

With great interest, the teachers learned about the interactive textbook “World History” for the 10^th grade students, written by Dr. Igor Shchupak. The new educational edition presents themes from the First to the Second World War, the formation of totalitarianism and the Holocaust. One of the innovations is the introduction of “Historical interviews” with well-known Ukrainian and foreign historians, who answered to the difficult questions of history, provided by the new curriculum.
