On March 14-15, regional and city pedagogical seminars on history teaching of World War II and the Holocaust methodology for history, law teachers and methodologists of the regions was held in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson. Educational events were held at Odessa academy of continuing education, Kherson state university, and Mykolaiv secondary school № 57.
Within the framework of seminars for educators, Dr. Igor Shchupak and Iryna Piskariova, head of educational department of «Tkuma» Institute presented new textbooks on world history for the 11th forms and an integrated course for 6th forms. The questions of using multimedia technologies during history lessons, visual content in educational literature - photographs, drawings, cartoons, etc. caused a lively discussion among the teachers.
Presentation of the mobile educational exhibition of «Tkuma» Institute, devoted to the history of the Holocaust in Ukraine, as well as the latest methodological and scientific literature on world history and the Holocaust was held at the end of the seminars.
