On February 16, a group of museologists and librarians from Dnipro have visited Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Tkuma” Institute. A good friend and partner of “Tkuma” Institute and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” Dmytro Kayuk – director of municipal enterprise “Ethnographic Parks of Dnipro” initiated the meeting.

The group was interested in the peculiarities of the creation of our Museum and the construction of its exhibitions. Dr. Olena Ishchenko told about these during the guided tour. Afterwards, the educators met with the Deputy Director of “Tkuma” Institute and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, Dr. Yehor Vradii and Dr. Igor Shchupak. They had a lovely discussion about topical issues for museum workers: how does a museum work during quarantine? How to advertise your activities and how to attract new audiences to visit museums? What are grants and how to get them? etc.

Finally, a new project of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Tkuma” Institute was presented, in which everyone will be able to take part.
