On October 6, the program “Right to Power. Babyn Yar: they shot US here”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy. Dr. Igor Shchupak was invited to discuss the history and memory of the Babyn Yar tragedy.

“The program was important to me, to our Museum and “Tkuma” Institute, said Dr. Shchupak. – It was important to mention the work of our Museum and Institute, the Holocaust expedition, the study of the history of destruction, Resistance and rescue. It was important to meet interesting people, most of whom we have been cooperating with for a long time, in particular with Helinada Hrinchenko, Anton Drobovych, Oleg Turiy, Andriy Umansky. It was important to present to the new Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Mykhailo Brodsky the book “Righteous”, published by us in Dnipro as part of the project naming 13 streets of the city and region after the Righteous Among the Nations, who rescued Jews from extermination in Dnipropetrovsk region.
