On November 23, the 4th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Humanitarian and Pedagogical Education: Achievements, Problems, Prospects” was held, organized by the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Bet Hana” (Dnipro) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The scientific event gathered participants from all over Ukraine and other countries.

Among the reports that were heard during the conference were, in particular, the following: “Typology of lifestyles of high school students” (Tetiana Kozman, Moldova), “Humanitarian security of Ukraine: education and science in the context of sustainable development” (Prof. Mykola Piddiachy, Ukraine), “Development of mental maturity of modern mothers: intercultural aspect” (Prof. Inna Osadchenko, Dr. Anna Mlynarchuk-Sokolowska, Ukraine-Poland). Dr. Igor Shchupak made a speech-presentation “Problems of Ukrainian humanitarian and pedagogical education under the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the challenges of the age of digitalization”.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the high scientific level of the speeches of the participants from different countries, the interest of many scientists and educators in the conference, – noted Dr. Shchupak. – I especially want to note the speech of the Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “Bet Hana” Institute, Rabbi Meir Zvi Stambler, who spoke about the task of humanitarian and pedagogical education in Ukraine under the conditions of full-scale Russian aggression. Among other things, the Rebbe noted that Russia's war against Ukraine is a war against God, a war of darkness against light. But the light will win. We have to bring the Victory of Ukraine closer, and bring the coming of Mashiach closer”.

The materials of the conference will be published.
