On May 30, a group of educators and public figures from Germany headed by Andreal Barthel, who once worked as a volunteer at “Tkuma” Institute visited Institute and the Holocaust Museum. German activists have already visited Kyiv, Babyn Yar in particular, and now they came to Dnipro. Radio-media pedagogy and gathering evidence of the Holocaust and Holodomor in Ukraine the main area of their activity, because these topics, like other plots of Ukrainian history, are still almost unknown to the general public of Germany, in particular for young people. Therefore, the purpose of the future educational project, which was initiated by Andreas with his colleagues, is the development of youth exchanges in Ukraine and Germany, which will be an impetus for interethnic dialogue and will allow expanding young people's knowledge of the both countries history, especially about the tragic pages of the 20th century.

Today they visited the Holocaust Museum, had a great tour, which gave them Dr. Denys Shatalov, head of research departments and met with research staff of “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum. Discussed the educational and scientific youth projects and programs, about international cooperation and prospects for further cooperation with German partners.
