On September 30, seminar for teachers of history and civic education “Without retelling paragraphs and studying notes: how to change approaches to teaching history” was held in Kyiv, organized by the educational centers “I and my school” and “MriyDii”. Dr. Igor Shchupak was invited to participate in the event as a speaker.

Speakers – teachers and lecturers of history, authors of school textbooks and heads of educational programs – shared with the participants their innovative developments in the field of history education. Among the topics brought up for discussion were, in particular, the following: “3D scenes and virtual tours as an interactive component of a modern history textbook” (winner of the GTP Ukraine 2021 award in the “Teacher-innovator” nomination, director of “Scientific Lyceum of International Relations II-III degrees” Nataliya Vlasova), “New model of school history education as a requirement of the time” (assistant professor of the Department of Modern History of Ukraine, I. Franko Lviv National University, author of history textbooks and educational aids Maryan Mudryi), “How and according to what recipe to prepare history teachers?” (head of the methodical association of the Educator lyceum, author and presenter of “Neistfak” Vladyslav Shtegelskyi), “Rewriting history” and computer games in modern history education” (Dr. Igor Shchupak) and other, no less interesting and relevant issues.
