PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On December 08, winter session for students-members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the section “History” was held at “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”.

Teachers of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University – Dr. Svitlana Kaiuk (session “Regional history studies”), Dr. Olha Kakovkina (session “World History”), Dr. Olha Posunko (session “History of Ukraine”); researcher of Dmytro Yavornytskyi National Historical Museum Dr. Iryna Yakymova (session “Archeology”) held consultations for young scientists of Dnipropetrovsk region, who will soon defend their first history research works.

After discussing the design of the contest works and advice on future protection students together with their parents had the opportunity to visit Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. Dr. Olena Ishchenko, Museums researcher held a guided tour to the guests.
