PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On September 24, educational forum “Education of the XXI century: realities and prospects”, organized with the assistance of Rivne City Council was held in Rivne Local Palace of Children and Youth. The event was attended by city teachers and school principals, teachers and managers from other local communities. Iryna Piskarova, head of the educational department of “Tkuma” Institute was invited to tale a part in the event.

The program of the event included a panel discussion with the participation of the first educational ombudsman Serhiy Gorbachev, and the head of the State Service for Education Quality in Rivne region Sviatoslav Sydoruk, the work of teachers in 12 locations, exhibitions and informal communication.

During the Forum, Iryna Piskarova made a report-presentation “Model programs, effective teaching methods and new “paper”/“multimedia” textbooks.” The problems of modern and effective methods of teaching history (in particular, in the study of World War II and the Holocaust topics), the features of blended and distance learning, the use of multimedia technologies in paper history textbooks were discussed.
