PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On November 29, 2020, as part of the meeting of the Movie Club of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, a meeting was held with Tatiana Kondrashevskaya – director, screenwriter of the feature film “Red Necklace”. The plot of the film is based on the real history of a Ukrainian rural family from Zaporizhzhia during the Holodomor of 1932-1933.

The film, its history and main ideas, features of the Holodomor presentation in art, academic science, family dimensions of genocide memory were discussed with the director by Dr. Igor Shchupak, director of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, “Tkuma” Institute, Honored Educator of Ukraine and Valentyn Rybalka, researcher at Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Tkuma” Institute.
