The practical part of the School of Young Guides HistoryLabs – a joint project of “Tkuma” Institute and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine", which is implemented with the support of Limmud FSU Labs.

On July 18, the participants of the educational project went on an educational visit to Novomoskovsk, where they together with a researcher of the city history and the Local Lore museum of P. Kalnyshevsky Larysa Gavryushina learned the history of the region. The participants of the project visited the place of execution of the Jewish population of the city, saw the ancient synagogue, which now houses a sports club. And also – visited the St. Nicholas Desert Samara Monastery, founded in Cossack times, and went on a tour of the Museum of Local Lore.

We truly thank our friends-partners for their hospitality!
