PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On April 26, the plenary session of the ІІІ All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Professional Position: Opinions, Arguments, Facts” organized by the Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi Kirovohrad Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education was held. Dr. Igor Shchupak was invited to participate in the scientific event.

The purpose of the conference was to unite the efforts of scientists and teachers of Ukraine to discuss the issues of teaching subjects in the educational fields of “Social Studies”, “Civic and Historical Education”; coverage of issues of methods of teaching subjects of these educational fields; presentation of own experience, exchange of pedagogical ideas and formation of professional competence of teachers of social science disciplines in the conditions of today's challenges.

During the plenary session, Dr. Shchupak made a speech “Modern challenges in teaching history under the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war and “complete digitalization”” and outlined the key issues of updating history as a science and educational discipline, the involvement of historical video games in the educational process, problems of transformation of historical education in Ukraine.
