PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On February 18, 2016 Kees van Baar, Human Rights Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Minke van der Sar, Policy Officer at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Riny Bus, Deputy Ambassador, and Kateryna Ostashkova, Political Section Officer, made a short visit to Dnipropetrovsk Jewish Community.

After the meeting with the Shmuel Kaminezki, Chief Rabbi of Dnipropetrovsk and the region, diplomatic mission visited the Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Director, conducted the guided tour. He described the concept and structure of the Museum that represents the diversity of Jewish life in Ukraine before the Second World War, the origins and consequences of the Holocaust, one of the greatest tragedies in human history.
