On March 8, another “historical webinar” was held, organized by “Tkuma” Institute and “Orion” Publishing House. The educational event “History education in the digital age: a view from Brussels” was conducted by Dr. Igor Shchupak.
During the webinar, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern European experience of teaching history in the digital age and take part in the discussion of a number of topical issues:
- Do they remember Ukraine in the “capital” of the EU;
- What prospects do Europeans see in historical education in the digital age;
- Use of video games in historical education;
- Distortion of concepts in the study of the history of the Holocaust and other genocides;
- Digital environment and history textbooks;
- The meaning of rewriting history, and others.
