On May 30, 2017 regular seminar for history teachers was conducted. The event was organized by “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, Dnipro Regional Institute of Advanced Teacher Training. The program of pedagogical seminar included:

On April 11, 2017 Sumy welcomed seminar on problems of teaching World War II and the Holocaust history at secondary schools and reforms of history education in Ukraine. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director, and Iryna Piskariova, “Tkuma” Institute Educational Programs Coordinator.

On April 13, 2017 regular seminar for History teachers, organized in cooperation with Dnipro Regional Institute of Advanced Teacher Training, was conducted. Program of the event included guided tour through Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” exhibition, conducted by research associate Valentyn Rybalka. Within the seminar teachers also met Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director, and discussed reforms of Ukrainian school system, integration of world history and history of Ukraine courses, peculiarities of teaching various topics during history lessons.

On April 04-05, 2017 Kropyvnytsky hosted pedagogical seminars and interactive sessions for teachers and school students dedicated to the history of World War II and the Holocaust, organized by “Tkuma” Institute and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”.

On April 03, 2017 Odesa hosted pedagogical seminars and practical sessions dedicated to the history of World War II and the Holocaust conducted by “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum.
