PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

During September 20-23, 2016 University of Hamburg (Germany) hosted the 51st meeting of German historians. In the framework of this event the regular meeting of the Ukrainian-German historical commission was conducted with participation of Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director.

During the conference Dr. Igor Shchupak joined the round “The 75th Anniversary of Babyn Yar: Memory of Jews, Ukrainians and Germans”. Along with the historical aspects, scholars discussed large-scale UJE project in Kyiv on September 23-29, 2016. During the meeting of Ukrainian-German historical commission plan for 2017 was discussed, including scholarships for young Holocaust researchers to study in Germany.
