PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On September 22 within Lviv Book Forum, which lasted in Lviv during September 19-23, “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies presented its editions dedicated to the history of Second World War, the Holocaust and other genocides in the context of the creation of the Ukrainian national narrative.

During the event, Dr. Yehor Vradii presented “Tkuma” Institute new editions, among which – Yu. Slavik, “The path to Auschwitz: The Holocaust in Transcarpathia”; Oleksii Honcharenko “Holocaust on the Territory of the Reichskommissariat “Ukraine” in the national historiographical discourse (1941 – 2016); O. Kruglov, I. Shchupak, A. Umansky “Holocaust in Ukraine” Volume #2; S. Bruchfeld, P. Levine “Tell Ye Your Children” (Ukrainian translation). The uniqueness of this publication is that this edition includes section dedicated to the Holocaust on occupied Ukraine, written by Dr. I. Shchupak, director of “Tkuma” Institute and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. The last two editions have been nominated for the Contest «BookForum Best Book Award».
